The fact that the hotel had an outdoor pool was a bonus, even though it wasn't open in winter. The location on the outskirts of Bordeaux was ideal for exploring the area. The staff were accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Despite the language barrier, they were helpful in every way.
